The design of the Drumfire has been extensively optimized to sail in the Spirit of Tradition regatta class. The relatively deep keel combined with carbon spars and tall sail plan has given this yacht a high stability for conditions in Antigua and large sail area for conditions in the Mediterranean Sea.
DRUMFIRE has a keel with 3,40 meter (11 ft) draft, assuring excellent upwind performance. The performance has been further optimized using our in-house developed velocity prediction program, combined with wind tunnel testing that had been done previously for other yachts.
The deck and interior layout is unique for a boat this style and shows an aft steering and sailing cockpit, where the 2-speed hydraulic winches are located, and futher forward a social (central) cockpit. The total accomodation is for 6 guests and 2 crew.

The yacht is very suitable for family cruising and she will do well in the regatta scene.

The yacht is kept in prestine condition, in 2008/2009 she underwent an extensive upgrade including a state of the art navigation and entertainment system as well as a customized interior upgrade.
