“JAN DE VRIES” was designed for a discerning yachtsman who wanted to cruise the world in complete comfort, but if necessary short handed and without crew.
For comfort of the owner at sea, his cabin was created in the back with a queen size bed under the cockpit and ensuite bathroom.

Forward of the owners cabin is the full head room engine room, in which all machinery and systems are fitted. To port of the engine room the spacious galley is situated.
Above the engine room and galley is the deck salon in which one can have a meal, drinks or just relax with unlimited view of the surroundings. Also here is the navigation station with all necessary equipment. With the autopilot the yacht can even be steered from inside the deck salon.

Forward of the salon there are two guest cabins for four guests. They share one bathroom with shower stall.

The yacht is equipped with all furling sails and can be fully controlled from behind the steering wheel. Under power the yacht has variable pitch propeller to adjust to any condition or sea state.
