HOEK DESIGN TRULY CLASSIC 78 KANTEERA – 2006
The Hoek designed TC 78 KANTEERA was built by Claasen Shipyard in the Netherlands in July 2006. She shares an identical double cockpit layout with her sister vessel, TC 78 Drumfire. Both yachts are built to the same hull design as the third TC 78 Bontekoning.
KANTEERA is a perfect fit for the keen sailor that loves tradition and style but does not want to compromise on sailing performance. The yacht’s hull design and rig was optimised for racing in the Spirit of Tradition Class regattas. This design ethos was proven with a 1st Place victory at the 2014 Palma Superyacht Cup. In addition to excellent regatta performance, the design also allows for shorthanded cruising with just an owner in command.
The stunningly beautiful yacht is ideal for large families cruising. During her 2020 refit the sleeping capacity has been increased to 10 persons and all four cabins have been up-graded with an en-suite bathroom. A large part of the interior was resprayed. The bright white panelling combined with varnished teak and chrome give her a refined, classic look.
KANTEERA is located in Palma de Mallorca.
