Hoek Design 70 ft Ketch KIM – 1991
After establishing a renowned reputation in designing Dutch lee- board yachts, the iconic KIM was one of the first seagoing yachts designed bij Hoek Design Naval Architects. With a classic appearance she is excitingly beautiful. Her large sail area allows her to move swiftly in light airs and due to her proven hull-concept, she remains a comfortable and reliable yacht, even in the worst weather conditions.
The beautifully crafted classic interior has a 5 cabin lay-out with all separate washbasins. The yacht comfortably accommodates 9 persons with 2 crewmembers, including the pipecod birth in the saloon on starboard side.
The original owner sailed her with his family with two very young children to the Mediterranean, North- and West Africa and as far as South America proving KIM’s ability for short handed sailing, as is evidently experienced by her current owner as well.
