Dixbay was built in 2004 for the current owner with the emphasis on short handed sailing.

Hence her extensive hydraulic systems, such as powered sail winches, captive main halyard winch, Reckman furlers, mainsail furling in the carbon boom, retractable bow and stern thrusters, lift keel, variable pitch propellor, boom vang, backstay tensioner, etc, all operable by push buttons from the helm position.

The yacht was only used during the summer seasons and “slept†inside a temperature controlled storage every winter.

Recently all the exterior varnish work was stripped to bare wood and rebuilt to it’s glistening appearance. Moreover, the full standing rod rigging has been inspected and replaced, new running rigging and the mast and boom have been repainted.

DIXBAY represents an opportunity of beauty in all aspects, with very light usage and ready to go anywhere.
